Posters without borders – The Right to decide

Fui invitado a diseñar un cartel para la exhibición Posters without Borders 2015, titulada “El derecho a decidir”.

Mi propuesta “Pasos para la democracia” va dedicada al incompetente, fraudulento  y descarado Instituto Nacional Electoral de México (INE). La comparto junto con otros carteles y fotos de la inauguración el pasado 6 de Agosto de 2015 en Birmingham, Alabama, Estados Unidos.

I was invited to design a poster for the exhibition Posters without Borders 2015, titled “The right to decide”.

My submission “Democracy steps” is dedicated to the incompetent, fraudulent and shameless National Electoral Institute of Mexico (INE). I share it along some other works and photos of the opening August 6th, 2015 at Birmingham, Alabama, United States.

In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Acts, signed into law August 6, 1965, the Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts presents:
“The Right to Decide”
International Poster Invitational
August 6 – November 14
Organized by the group Posters Without Borders
(Eric Boelts, Antonio Castro H., & Erin Wright).
Opening Reception: August 6, 5:30-7:30pm

62 artists from 25 countries, including some of the most respected poster artists in the world, have created new posters on the subject of voting rights and fair elections specifically for this exhibition. The exhibition also includes student posters from university design programs in Russia, Finland, Colombia, Taiwan as well as 5 universities in the United States.
